The molecular conformation is stabilized by intramolecular N-H...O, C-H...O and C-H...[pi] interactions. Formation of centrosymmetric head-to-head dimers is observed through pairwise intermolecular N-H...O hydrogen bonds. Additional weak C-H...O and C-H...[pi] interactions stabilize the three-dimensional molecular assembly.13 p.enThis open-access article is distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Licence http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/uk/legalcode, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original authors and source are cited.Organic compundsMethylphenyltetrahydropyridinePiperidine—DerivativesMethyl 2,6-diphenyl-1-p-tolyl-4-(p-tolyl- amino)-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-3- carboxylateArticle10.1107/S1600536812030309
