Chronic Sinusitis is defined as a condition manifested by the inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity and the paranasal sinuses, fluids within these sinuses, and/or the underlying bone (Lanza and Kennedy, 1997). It is diagnosed if the condition has been present for 4 weeks or more (Carr, 2001). The demand for non-invasive, harmless and successful treatment for this condition is quite evident and increasing (Mayo Health Clinic Oasis, 2000). The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of a homoeopathic complex in the treatment of chronic sinusitis in terms of the patients’ perception (Appendices C1 & C2) of the treatment. The homoeopathic complex used in this double-blind study was made up of Hydrastis canadensis 9CH, Kalium bichromicum 9CH and Sambucus nigra 9CH.en_US
